For 10 highly rewarding years after college graduation, Douglas progressed from Salesman to Sales Manager to National Sales Manager for a fast-growing Consumer Goods company. The company was subsequently sold and Douglas was seeking a new career position. He soon was offered and accepted a Sales Manager position with a prestigious temporary employment firm in Stamford, CT. In just two short years, Douglas tripled the company’s sales and was named the Sales Manager of an even larger Sales organization (a position he held for the next 3 years) when his company was acquired by a larger firm. Donald Hannon
Director of Recruitment – Accounting & Finance
Don has joined Alexander BEC Corporate Recruiters after a Sales & Management career with such notable companies as Kenworth Corporation and Waste Management in Sales, Sales Management, and Operations Management positions.
Throughout his career, Don has served as a key strategic business partner to Financial Directors, Sales & Marketing Executives, and Operational Directors, and developed a solid understanding of the critical Accounting/Financial, Sales/Marketing, and Operational issues which companies face on a daily basis.
As a professional, Don’s business acumen and unique combination of experience has allowed him to understand the requirements of his clients and potential candidates, and to become an immediate impact player in the recruitment industry.
Don is the father to two wonderful boys, ages 7 and 10. His outside interests include family time, guitar, fishing, and martial arts.
